Soon, one of Ben's first start ups was born out of MIT labs where he developed new solutions for handling and encrypting sensitive information. In partnership with practicing doctors, Ben launched innovative data exchange solutions for the medical community that drastically improved patient data security. Before Smerf, Ben developed an event and registration platform that became one of the largest in the world powering Marriott, Microsoft, and others (Acquired by Cvent).
